The prolific French street artist OX creates posters and billboards that impact public spaces in surprising, thought-provoking ways.
The city is OX s canvas and oversized billboards are his media of choice. He covers them with geometric or abstract compositions and mixes the styles of avant-garde movements with the world of commercial images. Some of his artworks are reminiscent of the paintings of Mark Rothko while others seem to be surreal dreams. All of them meld together perfectly with the public spaces for which they were created.
